At only few minutes from Le Bailli, the Eiffel Tower is one of the most visited spots in the world.
It was built by Gustave Eiffel for the 1889 Exposition Universelle, which was to celebrate the 100th year anniversary of the French Revolution
The Eiffel Tower is an architectural and mechanical feat. Designed to remain standing for only 20 years, it was continually kept in place due to technological needs (radiographic then radiophonic transmissions) to finally become a symbol of Parisian cultural influence and French daring.
